There is something both surreal and deeply moving about watching your own book being printed. The whole process reminds me of an aircraft preparing for takeoff. First, everything is carefully checked. One by one, the machines come to life. Buttons are pressed, systems are activated, mechanisms begin to move. The press slowly gathers speed—and then, suddenly, everything is in motion.
